Hello!  And thanks for coming by to visit my first blog.   I’m pretty new at this, but I intend to send out messages to the interested from time to time.

I’ll comment on life when I have a profound thought, and I will also pass along for the benefit of other authors some of the grammatical wisdom I learned at the knee of Miss Bertha Casey, English teacher extraordinaire and legend in her own time.  You know—like the mysteries of the past tense of ‘to lie’ or ’to lay’.  ‘To get laid’, I fear, was out of the expertise of Miss Casey.
