I have been having some health problems, so the writing seems to have come to a screeching halt, but I hope that won’t be forever. Maybe soon I’ll be back at the keyboard, and I promise to pay more attention to my blog!

I’ll comment on life when I have a profound thought, and I will also pass along for the benefit of other authors some of the grammatical wisdom I learned at the knee of Miss Bertha Casey, English teacher extraordinaire and legend in her own time. You know—like the mysteries of the past tense of ‘to lie’ or ’to lay’. ‘To get laid’, I fear, was out of the expertise of Miss Casey.
